We’re Still Alive

Let me personally come out and be the first to say sorry.  We’ve been working hard on the tower.  We’ve redesigned how the tower works and crushed many forgotten, lonely gamemodes that were hanging by a thread.  I still have yet to update the Facepunch thread, on that note.  I’m also working on a new website that clearly lists information for each gamemode.  It will be a real website and not just a blog this time.

The lack of updates on this website are mostly my own fault.  We’ve gotten tons of things done ever since AzuiSleet, Sunabouzu, and Spacetech have joined our team.  We feel pretty confident in our team’s abiltity to both amaze and entertain.  There’s so much work to cover over these past months, I don’t know how I’ll catch up.  However, the new website will contain nearly all of our work.

It’s probably worth noting that we’ve got PVP Battle pretty much completed.  There’s a few more weapons, maps, and some gameplay tweaks to make, but nothing huge.  We’re also working hard to finish the Ball Race gamemode (screen shots below).

I’ll try to update this website more.  Oh and I updated the FAQs.  Thank you for your support.


 Puzzle: Impossible - Sunafied

Sunabouzu has been working hard lately. He has finished the Man The Turret map, two Puzzle: Impossible maps (level 6-7), and the RC car/boat tracks. I’ve finished the Route 66 Bar and optimized and cleaned many maps and materials.
I’ll start off with some screenshots of Puzzle: Impossible - Level 7, created by Sunabouzu.

You and your teammates walk into a room, only to be gassed with narcotics. You enter a screwed up dream world adventure that you must survive through. Ok, I’m not a decent story teller, but it’ll make more sense when you play Puzzle: Impossible.

Let’s not forget about the really small changes to the Route 66 Bar.

 The Gallery Update

We (Sunabouzu, The Pro, Sniper, Margerine, and I) play tested The Gallery today. It’s really coming along quite nicely. I think you’ll enjoy it a lot when it comes out.

 Puzzle: Impossible Update

We have been working hard on fixing current developer communication issues and miscellaneous code additions (such as HUDs). I’ve been fixing different things in nearly all of my maps. However, they are relatively small adjustments and not worth showing just yet. I do have some screenshots of Puzzle: Impossible. We finished the gamemode for Puzzle: Impossible. This includes power-ups, spawns, and more.

What more lies ahead? You’ll just have to find out later.


 New Web Server

Took only a day and we are now up and running on the new web server. Everything should work exactly the same as before.

Another good thing came out of this. We now own http://www.gmodtower.org, http://www.gmodtower.com, and http://www.gmodtower.net. Do we really need them all? Not really, but it’s always a good investment in the long run.
